'Oskar' was a lovely gold boy, who certainly lived up to his name - his show career was Like A Prayer, and I am very proud to have bred this lovely boy, and to have co-owned him for his showring campagin.

His show career began with controversy, over his original registered name (was Macdolly All Focked Up - in tribute to his full sister, 'Fock') - and someone thought it was inappropriate and I had to change it.  His second name, Macdolly Like a Prayer, was after the Madonna song - and it certainly fitted his career to come.This lovely gold dog was campaigned to his title in a partnership with Toni Harm (Tarrendayle).

'Oskar' placed second in the Baby Dog Class at the 1994 Cocker Spaniel National and continued his winning ways from there.

I had the privilege of handling 'Oskar', whilst still a youngster, through to 2 All Breeds Best In Show wins by the age of 12 months - what a wonderful achievement for a Cocker so young, and being a gold made it even more impressive.  He continued his winning ways with many Sweepstakes and In Show awards.

As a relatively young dog, 'Oskar' went to live with Hazel Meara of Hazmar Kennels and for many years where he proved his worth as a Stud dog. He then went to live with Jan Bignall of Goldtag Kennels as an older dog, and continued to make his mark in her breeding program>

This mating, was very sucess and 'Oskar' was full brother to Ch Macdolly Got the Look (BIS WINNER ALL BREEDS) and Ch Macdolly Keep the Faith (COCKER OF THE YEAR WINNER).
