Our gorgeous 'Feline' was a wonderful gold girl, who eluded personality, type and style.  We sold her as an eight week old pup, but she was returned to us Easter 1996 after her family decided she was too much trouble.  This lovely girl had whelped a litter by herself in the yard, and we are thankful that she came back to Macdolly.

Funnily enough, this gold bitch was one of the most amicable lovable dogs that someone could ask for and I feel blessed that she was returned to me.

She entered the showring for the first time August 1996 and won a 25 point CC under a judge from Japan. Imagine my surprise, as she had never been to a dog show before - and even without a full show coat, this lovely girl caught the International Judges eye.

She proved to be a natural showdog with her ever-wagging tail and inexhaustible gait,and quickly gained quite a following around the showring.  She was litter sister to BIS winner, Ch Macdolly Got The Look.

Just three months after her first show, I entered her in the Cocker Spaniel Club of Queensland's Inaugural Cocker of the Year competition.

Under respected specialists Mrs Bev Clare (Haywyn), Mr Kim Myers (Stapleton) and Ms Glenda Goller (All Breeds), she won the prestigious award of Cocker of the Year 1996.

She quickly completed her title and retired from the showring after many impressive wins,including Runner Up Best In Group.  She lived out the latter of her life with Tracie Stradling (Sherebliss Kennels) as a happy spoilt housedog - we shall never forget 'Feline'.
