We were very happy to have 'Guy' at Macdolly, and we thank Carol Dawson (Gunwise Kennels), for the unexpected but much appreciated gift of Guy, after he had a 'holiday' with us for twelve months.

'Guy' joined us, as his litter sister, Gunwise Eternal Flame had not turned out to a 'show girl', and Carol felt that 'Guy' would do us proud.  She was right, and although I didnt want a blue roan boy, I took on the challenge of 'Guy' and fell in love with him upon his arrival. He took to the show ring like a duck to water and won his first CC on 26 January 2002, finishing his title in style less than two months later on 23 March. We had only had him a few short weeks so he certainly did both kennels very proud.

He won several In Group Awards and his show career went from strength to strength, enjoying several great wins under Breed Specialists.  In less than eighteen months of showing, Guy amassed just two points short of 500 points. He was a Multi Best in Group and Runner Up Best in Group winner.

We retired 'GuyDog' from the showring in 2003, his last appearance being Cocker of the Year, where he was a finalist for the second year in a row.  He is now living with our good friend, Tracey and her two young daughters in the Redlands area, and they adore him and he has totally taken over their house and lifestyle. Thanks Tracey for loving Guydy!Thank you Carol for the generous gift of this lovely boy, he was a true favorite here at Macdolly.

'Guy' is the sire of Singapore Champion Macdolly Dakota Paint, who joined Chris Chia in Singapore in February 2003, and made up his title in fine style in September 2003.

We have a daughter from Guy - MACDOLLY DANGEROUSCURVES - an orange roan bitch who has never been shown but has produced us a Champion daughter, CH MACDOLLY LOST AT SEA (blue roan), from another litter a blue roan son, already a BIS winner CH MACDOLLY MAKE MINE BLUE and his black and white litter sister MACDOLLY ME N MY SHADOW, who is a multi Speciality in Show Winner from limited outings.
