'Jack' was a once in a lifetime showdog -  the one every breeder aspires to breed.  He is one of the most successful gold cockers in the showring in Australia in the past twenty years.

As far as we are aware, Jack was the first GOLD cocker to receive the title of Grand Champion. (To gain a Grand Champion title you have to amass 1000 CC points.)

He is the result of a very successful mating, sired by Ch Lochranza Go For Gold (imp UK).   We are very grateful to the late Mrs Iris Fair (Fairanchor) for allowing the use of her precious 'Paul'.
  
Jack was another of our ugly ducklings and didn't have a lot of wins until he was 10 months old. Unfortunately, for a while, many Australian breeders overlooked this stunning gold dog who carries very valuable bloodlines.

During the time he was owned by us, Jack won a Best In Show All Breeds (Open Show). He also won Runner Up Best In Show All Breeds (Championship) under Mr Noel Boddy of Arrunga Kennels.

In his show career he won Multi Best In Group Awards and Runner Up Best In Group Awards. He has also won Reserve CC at the Brisbane Royal National Show and many Best Brace Awards with his dam, Australian and New Zealand Champion Appintiki Karisma.

Jack went to live in Western Australia with Donna Daniel who took him out to gain his last CC after the new Grand Champion title was granted in Australia.  He also enjoyed several good wins with Donna, including BIS at the Gundog Specialty Show and went on to produce some lovely puppies in Western Australia.

I am so proud to have bred and exhibited a dog such as this from my second litter ever, and Jack truly taught me the meaning of showmanship.  Remembered with great love and devotion and an ever lasting memory of my gorgeous gold boy with his mum, affectionately known as 'gold thing.
