What a lovely puppy this boy was, and he showed so much promise of a great show career. So very like his fabulous Sire, we couldn't be proud of our lovely 'Prado'.

He was a multi In Group and In Show winner in Baby, Minor and Puppy Class - and he enjoyed many good wins under breed specialists.

A 'smallish' dog (well within the standard, but not leggy) with huge ribs and the most beautiful head I have ever bred on a Cocker. His downfall was he had a very large, woolly coat, not unlike his Sire, and it was a nightmare to work with, and it took many hours of preparation each week to make him presentable for the showring.

'Prado' finished his title with ease, but as a Junior dog, quickly decided that running around the show ring wasnt really for him - he became quite lazy and didnt enjoy showing as much as he had as a youngster.

He sired two Australian Champions for us - Ch Macdolly Morris Starman and Ch Macdolly Many Kisses. He also sired a lovely litter for Vicki Morgan of Witchware Kennels.

It was with great sadness that we decided to let 'Prado' go to a new home in early 2005 - and he is now living the life of luxury in the western suburbs of Brisbane with Ria and Brian - we miss our lovely boy so much.
