Beaubonange Little Boomer or 'Boomer' as he was affectionately known, was the second dog I purchased.

'Boomer' did well in the rings as a youngster, but as a beginner handler/groomer, I found it very hard to show two male dogs at the same time, and ended up semi-retiring him for twelve months.

Kay Obst (Tjantik) saw him when he was about 18 months old and offered to show him. His first show with her was the Queensland Cocker Spaniel Club Open Show. 
Kay and 'Boomer' proved to be a formidable team and they went on to win Best In Show.

His show career was on a roll again from there and I continued to campaign him to his title which he completed with a Best In Group Award.

'Boomer 'went on to win many more Best In Group and Class in Show awards including several Best Headed and Best Feet at Cocker Club shows.

This lovely old boy never showed his age, adn was still in the ring in 2000 - competing in the Veteran Class at the Cocker Spaniel National.  He won his last Best in Group award when he was 10 years old.

Always a true gentleman, this lovely boy was my Dad's dog, and will never be forgotten.

After a very short illness Boomer was laid to rest on 30th August 2002.   Rest in Peace our special boy.
