We are so very saddened at the sudden loss of this fabulous dog, after arriving in Australia just 13 days prior. He never had the chance to make the mark he we felt he was destined to, but from only two showring outings he already had a Reserve Exhibit in Group to his credit. Words are not enough to pay a real tribute to this lovely boy, the hurt is still so raw for everyone involved but we are so very proud to showcase our lovely 'AC'.
There will only ever be one 'AC' and we are so thankful that we got to love this lovely dog in person, if only for a short time. He will never be forgotten. He is truely in our thoughts every day.
This lovely dog is a consistent winner in many countries, with CCs in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Hungary, Czech Replubic and Slovakia. He left European, at almost 4 years of age, and we feel he enjoyed remarkable success in the show ring, and has many envious wins to his credit.
'AC' is a multi Group and Show winner, including Specialty BIS win under Mrs Andrea Carrasco.
He has passed his working tests, in Finland and Hungary, making this lovely dog a truely versatile representative of the breed. He was campaigned to his New Zealand Championship title (enroute to Australia) by Amanda Thomas-Pritchard (Suedanka Kennels), and along the way won RESERVE IN GROUP in New Zealand. I was lucky enough to go to NZ to visit 'AC' during his stay and handled him through to a CC for his title at a show in Auckland.

October 2004 - won CC at Hungarian Spaniel Club Show judged by breed specialist Mrs Jackie Rowland (UK) - Perrytree Kennels
July 2003 - won Best in Show at the Spaniel Club Deutschland Club Show under Swiss breed specialist Andrea Carrasco - Bois Des Amourettes Kennels
July 2003 - won CC at the Spaniel Club Deutschland Club Show under breed specialist Mr Ernie Darby (UK) - Classicway Kennels
June 2003 - won CC at the Swedish Spaniel and Retriever Club Speciality under Czech breed specialist Mr Petr Studenik - Black Petrs Kennels
August 2002 - won 2 CC's at the age of 9 months at the Danish Spaniel Club annual 2 days' Club show "Gold Cup"
'AC' leaves behind some lovely babies at several leading in Europe kennels, including very striking chocolate & chocolate & tan colours. Sadly he was not used much as a Stud dog in Europe, but he has certainly left his mark with the kennels that had the foresight to use this boy.
He produced one litter n New Zealand at Kennel Espaniel, and we are very proud of our own 'AC' son, BISS Ch Espaniel Reach Out for Macdolly (imp NZ) His black and tan litter brother, 'Guiness' and black sister 'Portia' owned by Sharee East, and his gold brother 'Baxter' owned by Lyn Day in New Zealand are all well on the way to their NZ titles too.
OUR DEEPEST GRATITUDE TO TUIJA AND LARS - your generosity in the gift of this precious boy can never be repaid - we can only hope that his memory will live on through his progeny throughout the world.
