We are so very proud to introduce our 'Bunny Dog'. A son of our own import (tragically lost in early 2006) and his dam is half sister to the top winning gold bitch in NZ, BIS Winner NZ Ch Ashard Memorie D'Amour, and her sire is the well known IID dog, NZ Ch Stapleton Sunset Blvd. Thank you to the following breed specialists who have thought so hightly of our boy - with sweepstakes wins, CCs, Res CCs or in Group/Show awards - Barbara Balaam, Andrew Jones (UK), Rosemary Kemp, Geoff Love, Linda Field, Joan Beech (Canada), Kim Meyer, Rodney Wyatt (UK), Sally Wyatt (UK), Lorraine Buchanan, Julie Gotch, Shirely Barrett (NZ), Sue Bruno, Karleen Bennett - this boy is certainly proving to be the breed specialists choice.
The pedigree of this pup combines some of the top winning Euro and UK pedigrees. Our thanks to Sheree East (Espaniel) and Sharan Byrne (Ashard) New Zealand, for allowing 'Bunny' to come to Macdolly. We took 'Bunny' in lieu of a service fee for this litter and we are very proud to have him with us.
Our gorgeous baby wins BABY DOG SOLID CLASS at the Cocker Spaniel NATIONAL 2006 under breed specialist, Mr Andrew Jones (Shenmore UK) - the critique from this win - "Winner at just 3 months is a beautiful young black, absolutely a miniature of what you might wish to see at 2 years old. Beautiful balance throughout, lovely compact shape, real melting expression, lovely well rounded front legs, great chest, lay back, beautiful in ribs, lovely back end which just fits everything else, all put together beautifully and when it came to move, real character on the move for such a young baby, real prospect."
Our lovely 'Bunny' is consistently in the winners circle at Specialty, All Breeds and Gundog Speciliaties - we couldnt be prouder of this lovely boy. With Baby in Show at Qld Gundog Club, Puppy in Show - CSCQLD Dec 2006, BIS and Junior in Show - CSCQLD May 2007, Junior in Show - CSCQLD July 2007 - he is proving to be the specialists style.

STOP PRESS: BEST IN SHOW - Cocker Spaniel Club of Qld Specialty May 2006 - Judge Mrs Julie Gotch (Clarevale Kennels) - at just 12 months and 6 days of age
And her critique of our lovely boy: Very short-backed, cobby dog. Beautiful coat and well groomed. Good spring of rib. Sweet head and dark eye. Very deep cat feet............ Very square dog with good length of upper arm and lay back. Short-coupled dog. Immaculately presented. Beautiful bone and feet. Melting dark eye and expression. He has that merry cocker temperament that is so important................Black Junior Dog presented in immaculate condition with a beautiful coat. He moved well. Short backed square dog He has good length of upper arm. Good hammy hindquarters. I liked him very much. I can only see him improving with maturity
Our heartful thank you to Tuija (Sheerclever Kennels - Denmark) for sending the legendary 'AC' to us - without her kindness and generosity we would never have had the pleasure of owning this lovely dog - a great ambassador for his lovely sire. Sleep well 'AC' until we meet again.
'Bunny' is now retired from the showring at just 15 months of age - with nothing left to prove he has done us all so very proud - thank you 'Bunny' for the fun times. This was not our 'grand plan' for this lovely dog, however it seems the only option with the dissoluion of our relationship with our NZ connections.
Mummys sweetest boy is now a Daddy with babies at Lamorna Kennels - his two daughters, Ivy and Lacey are doing us all proud with In Show awards to their credit - very much like their Daddy.
