We are very proud to present 'Toffee' proudly owned by Noel and Gill Porter.  Noel and Gill bought 'Toffee' as a beloved pet, and when they brought him for a haircut, they agreed that we could see if he could make it in the showring.  This lovely boy was all legs at the time, but we thought he had great potential, very different in style to his litter brother Ch Macdolly Oh What a Feelling - but very similar to his litter sister, Ch Macdolly Obseession.

'Toffee' debuted with Simon at the CSCQld Champ Show in July 2003, and placed 2nd Junior Dog Class.
At his second show he qualified for the Qld Classic.

Then his third outing saw him win Reserve Dog CC  and his owners were hooked and agreed we could continue to show him.
At his fourth fourth show in November 2003, he won BOB and Junior in Group (Open Show) and then he won Dog CC two days in a row and we knew he was going to have a great show career.

He was rested for the next three months, due to an injury (and the need to grow a show coat) and returned to the ring February 2004 and first show out he won 21 point Best of Breed and went on to win Aust Bred in Show!

 

'Toffee' was never campaigned hard, in fact we think he went to less than 40 shows from mid 2003 to end of 2004 when he was retired from showing - but his results made us very proud.

'Toffee' was retired from showing after Cocker of the Year - he is now clippered off like a sheep and running wild with his owners Noel and Gill who relocated from Brisbane to Perth in 2006.  We bid a fond farewell to 'ToffeeDog' and thank Noel and Gill for sharing him with us.

This litter was our most successful to date - with four Champions made up - Ch Macdolly Off Limits, Ch Macdolly Oh What a Feeling, Ch Macdolly Obsession and Singapore Ch Macdolly Oops I Did It Again.  The two boys (Off Limits and Oh What a Feeling) were both Royal Best of Breed winners in 2004 - what a great year they had and made us so proud.

 

'Toffee' is the sire of GRAND CHAMPION Macdolly AugustusLeonart - so very much like his Sire, and we are so proud of them both..
